Test Track Reopens with a High-Tech Upgrade
Test Track Presented by General Motors reopens on July 22, 2025, after a year-long refurbishment. The updated Test Track 3.0 includes new scenes, a new musical score, and a focus on advanced car technology. The high-speed finale reaches 65 mph, with new ride vehicles and concept cars in the queue. Annual Passholder previews are set for July 13-19, except July 17, via a virtual queue. On July 22, Test Track joins the top tier of Lightning Lane Multi Pass, with Soarin’ moving to the lower tier.
Spaceship Earth Scheduled for Closure
Spaceship Earth will close for routine maintenance starting August 25, 2025, with a planned reopening later this year. The attraction, narrated by Judi Dench with music by Bruce Broughton, is housed in EPCOT’s iconic geosphere.
Fourth of July Celebrations Planned
EPCOT will host a “Heartbeat of Freedom” fireworks display after the Luminous: Symphony of Us show at 9 PM on July 4, 2025. Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, and Chip & Dale will appear in “Spirit of ’76” Revolutionary War outfits at The American Adventure. Special Americana merchandise, a Stitch-themed Fourth of July pin, and festive treats will be available park-wide.
New and Returning Food Options
EPCOT has introduced new and returning food items at Connections Eatery, Sunshine Seasons, and other locations, including flatbreads, sandwiches, desserts, and snacks. Booth signs for the 2025 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival are appearing, confirming the return of popular booths.
Coral Reef Restaurant Gets a New Sign
Coral Reef Restaurant at The Seas Pavilion has a new sign, featuring wave lines and green fish, with the restaurant’s name in white on a blue background and a white oval frame.
